I was once posted a posting on I.S.A, & there was this person who support the jungle law & give his many reasons, one that I find emotionally written & based on blind support for the government, & he gave many refutable comments & weak reasons that I don’t expect a doctor to write, because it looks like a writing from a secondary school student’s essay. You can refer to this link to read it.
By the way, this is my answer to him:
Assalamualaikum **. ***** ****.
You obviously don’t read & watch my posting. Or perhaps you just read from one sided only. Anyway, thank you for your comments. I appreciate that.
Perhaps you can read & learn from the tafsir what these verses means;
“Allah doth command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; And when ye judge between man and man, that ye judge with justice: Verily how excellent is the teaching which He giveth you! For Allah is He Who heareth and seeth all things.”
“Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say: “I believe in the Book which Allah has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.”
“Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition”
I’m not against ISA for political reasons, & I believe those who disbelieve in ISA also have the same thought. As for me, I am against it because it is against Islam & the principle of justice , & I believe that Islam is also your religion too Dr. You have given so long comments, but GMI don’t just talk nonsense. They experience it & the make researches & studies. They don’t simply don’t agree with ISA for political or other immature reasons.
You can say whatever you want, it’s your right, but why don’t you tell your comments to Mat Sah’s family, or other family members of ISA’s victims?
From Islamic perspective, ISA is obviously has the syubhah element where one can be detained without trial & the authority has too much of power.
If they commit such wrongly acts or crimes, give them a fair trial. That’s what Rasulullah s.a.w. did even when he can actually just punish the person who obviously guilty. If there is a problem with the witness system, then we should do something to improvise that right? Not by having a law that don’t respect justice & human rights, not to mention against Allah’s law as well.
And those are just few, not all reasons why I am against ISA, why we should get rid of this tribal law.
You can agree or disagree with me, but don’t disagree with al-Quran, please.
May Allah bless you always **. Assalamualaikum.
